Which force plate do I have?

In November 2023 we released a revision of the Force Plate (FP-BTA) with some significant changes. Here is a guide to which force plate you have and what some of the significant differences are:

Revised Force Plate

Shipped after Nov. 10, 2023

Sensor Ranges: 850 N and 3500 N
Maximum Sampling Rate: 1,000 Hz
Cable: Removable 2-m BTA-BTA cable
Compatible interfaces:

  • LabQuest Mini (LQ-MINI)
  • LabQuest 3 (LABQ3)
  • CBL 2 (CBL2)
  • LabQuest Stream (discontinued)
  • LabQuest 2 (discontinued)
  • original LabQuest (discontinued)
  • LabPro (discontinued)
  • TI-Nspire Lab Cradle (discontinued)
  • Go Wireless Link (discontinued)

Original Force Plate

Shipped before Nov. 10, 2023

Sensor Ranges: 850 N and 3500 N
Maximum Sampling Rate (effective): 250 Hz
Cable: Attached 2-m BTA cable
