Yes! Below are some best practices to follow when making these files.
- Use only Supported Go Direct sensors as this does not work for Generally or Minimally Supported sensors. See Which Go Direct sensors work with the TI-Nspire DataQuest App?
- You must actually connect the sensor (via USB or Bluetooth) when setting up the file. Offline sensor setup is not available for Go Direct sensors.
- Connect all sensors and/or select all sensor channels before changing data-collection parameters or graph setup. Adding or removing sensors after making changes may undo your changes.
- Be sure to save your file before disconnecting your sensor.
Using the File
When students use your saved file, whenever possible have then connect the sensor via USB.
- Sensors connected via USB will automatically have the saved sensor channel configuration applied.
- Sensors connected via Bluetooth require students to manually set up sensor channels whenever non-default sensor channels are used.
